UPS account set up:

To request a new account, complete the attachment entitled Account Request Template. Once completed, email the form to the Geodis OMS team (oms-vs.sco.amer@geodis.com). Use “UPS account set up request” as your subject line. Note: UPS account numbers usually take 5-7 business days to create so do this step first in your quote inquiry with the supplier.


This UPS account number will be tied to your IBM billing account code. The account number is based on which IBM billing account code is going to be charged for the shipment. The attached document shows red boxes for the mandatory answer fields or the correct answers for the question for any US IBM logo merchandise orders. Make sure you indicate your correct line of business. This information is mandatory and if you don’t know, find someone who does know so you can accurately complete the form. Each account requires a shipper address. It’s not actually the shipper address but can be your local IBM office or your home address. This address is used if there’s a return shipment; the goods will be delivered to the address that was used to set up the account number.
